Pulling a new pipe into an existing pipe when a profile reduction is required or possible. New pipes of all common profiles are retracted by hydraulic gates or pushed by hydraulic equipment. The lengths of the retracted sections vary up to 300 m depending on local conditions, type and profile of the retracted pipeline.
Pulling the pipe is preceded by TV camera monitoring and pipe cleaning. Reconstruction can be carried out during operation (sewage pumping, bypasses). Connections are reconnected in the installation pits in certain cases for sewers by a trenchless robot. The reconstruction includes repairs of manholes and other objects of sewerage and water supply networks, bypassing and pumping, leakage and pressure tests, measurement of the actual condition, etc.
